Terms:

• Piece A: The spring steel plate with coating (PEI surface).
• Piece B: The magnetic base piece.
• Single side coating: One side of the spring steel plate has coating.
• Double sides coating: Both side of the spring steel plate has coating.

How to choose:

After prolonged use, the coating will peel off, resulting in a longer service life for double-sided coatings. But if you want the printed piece to have a very smooth bottom, you can choose the option of single-sided coating and use it with the smooth side facing up.

Tips: If you are using a single sided coating with the smooth side facing upwards, please note:
1. When printing, it is necessary to adjust the distance between the nozzle and the platform in the first layer appropriately,
2. You can consider reducing the printing speed of the first layer during slicing, increasing the temperature of the hot bed, increasing brim, enabling "elephant feet", and other methods to prevent the printer from falling off the hot bed.
